Beautiful coloring, but a bit dark... Maybe it's just my monitor, though. It looks like a light is radiating out onto her... like the kind from a campfire.
Vulpin, people had that problem with his last one, but I really believe this one isn't dark at all. This one looks fine. And Silver, you should post like.. not really a tut but maybe photos of what you're done. This is really nice coloring just for playing around.
I might do some progress shots eventually...it's a rather simple technique tough, just painting it in grayscale, then using layer effects for colors :3
Mmm, it wasn't a complaint, Dragon-Girl. Twas merely an observation. Again, it's probably just the fact that the gamma on my monitor is low. It's a very lovely picture, Silver. She looks very forelorn about her new state.
Thats pretty impressive! You have a pretty intresting style of shading and coloring. Specially with regards to blurring out the background to bring more focus to the fox subject. :)
Fantastic! My only comment would be the hands, mainly the fingers. The ring and pinky fingers seem a little short and are at an odd angle, at least to me. But other then that i love this piece.
I disagree on the background bigwhitetpolarbear. The blurring gives the picture an rushed feeling, as if the artist didn't care what he/she was drawing. If the background were given more detail, it would look nicer. Also the hands need some work, they also look rushed. But other than that it's a good picture.
