Another of my sketches from my openCanvas session with lancefoxx last night. This was the first one I drew, and I like it :D
(Also, one of my first experiments with drawing digitally. Still have a way to go if I want to do lineart, but it's not a bad start :) )
After my general call to people who might want to work in openCanvas (http://wistinga.online.fr/opencanvas/) with me, lancefoxx responded... only to have us work for upwards of 2.5 hours trying to get the silly connection to work! Every tutorial we'd seen on running OC with a router required a program called Hamachi, which, unfortunately, was not working for us (and will not work for any of you, as it's no longer compatible with OC). Eventually we discovered this and substituted LAN Bridger (htt...
Stegosaurus TF manip for vectordragon.
I don't think it looks as clean as some of my others, but much of this manip was very experimental - the scales, the reptilian transformation aspect, the plates, using layers and the paintbrush to shade... I think I did pretty well for a first time on these things!
So, while streaming the other day, Cameroo popped in to watch, unwitting that his transformation art had been some of my favorite since I discovered transformation art. Top of the list was the drawing upon which this picture was based.
Presented with a good idea -and having permission for such an homage granted by the artist- I decided to exploit my inspiration and try out a couple new fur brushes I'd gotten after watching something-wild stream his manip process. This picture, then, represen...
So, back in fall 2011 Dragoniade commissioned me to do an orca TF for him... and I'm finally getting around to finishing it!
Frame one done in graphite; frames 2 through 5 in charcoal :)
@SnowyPenguin went to the beach only infrequently, having to return inland at dusk. In his new form, however, he'd be returning out to sea...
He was in the middle of a nice long hot shower when he remembered (not so much remembered as was brought to mind forcefully, but anyway) that he had neglected to take his anti-plague pills that day. They were the only things keeping him (like everyone else) human. Ah well, at least swimming will be easier now...
... and found I'd slept in. Bad thing was, the transformations were set up on a schedule, designed to begin only after I arrived at work. Having missed my alarm, I now faced the challenge of getting to work without opposable thumbs. Drat.

Maybe about 5 hours, give or take, in PS. Discovered that I'm missing tools needed to paint on fur. Might be buying real PS now because of it...
Manip from Jan/Feb 2011 that I just never got around to posting. For various reasons I hadn't really felt comfortable with it, even though there's a lot that I like about it - like the apparent bodily shrinkage. But now it's up!
Thanks to gryf for helping with the background!
Maybe 5 hours in Photoshop? I started it over the summer.
