Why's he ordering a meat salad? Wait...it's apparent that that meat salad is his, right? Awww, man, that's some potential storytelling fail right there, let me tell you.

Woo-hoo! Halfway through the prologue! This page's backgrounds brought to you by the power of TRACING, particularly the "EAT" sign! Awwww yeah...you don't wanna know how much extra background I have. Oof.
Shine's thought process: "He seen me! Why's he still fuckin' off!?" Yeah, the blue hoodied guy goes by Shine. Spoilers, I guess! Wonder what the Fancy Man's so worried about?
Hopefully it comes across that Shine's losing his ability to make human sounds. Which, yanno, bummer. He is, however, gaining another way to communicate instead. THERE'S ALSO SOMETHING GOING ON WITH HIS BACK. What the hell's up with that?

This update was delayed by Fur Squared 2018, or more specifically, me not planning/working around it quite right, and my spontaneous adoption of my new dog, Carmen, from HAWS, the charity Fur Squared was raising money for this year. She is quite the cupcake!

Heh, yeah, he's a trans guy and the transformation is in the progress of causing his physical sex to line up with his internal gender. Which is always neat! But yeah, no big bouncing boobs migrating down into giant balls, or something. Though that could be fun to draw just for the hell of it!

idk why but at the lasts panels, i've almost thinked that man would turn forward (in a blink) to us and that was the slenderman in colored edition xD but still good stuff o3o also funny how his hand goes trough the food and the table x3 (also if as good idea was that since he cannot touch meat food, he can use his head, no?_? or will blend it? x3, actually may will go trough again^^" the "blend it" was a pun.)

^_^ Shh, no pointing out how art fails are making this difficult to understand. He's not actually phasing through anything, and he can touch the meat, I just drew it dumb, and should've had it more obvious that the meat just tastes really bad to him.

hehe ok xD but probably because the meat could be expired x3 that chef Gordon Ramsay will say that is un-frozen xD (which is a classic o3o) and that then it will visit the entire kitchen even if is not drawn xD he can smell the error miles away x3 good art is good :3 and it happens to some artist to do some errors for a centimeter,(or millimeter^^") just keep up the good work o3o *gives you a magnify glass, made good for artists :3* ♥

Hey, I've seen horses eat dry cat food, ham sandwiches, half a hamburger...you name it, they'll chow down on it. Cattle and deer in the wild will eat baby chicks out of any nests they find hidden in the grass, probably for the calcium.
But maybe a magical alicorn has a more delicate stomach.

Haha, yeah, it's always amazing what herbivores will eat given the opportunity! He'd probably be alright eating it, but his new perception of the flavor put him off it.
