I really like this shot. It has a great combination of features. It might just be his curled-up position, but I imagine him with a longer torso -- like if the whole pictures were stretched horizontally a bit.
Oh god, that one made me shiver a little. Composition's great, details are awesome, and I like the subject matter. I especially like the way the wings are just coming through his back all like "Don't mind us!" and the little scales that just happen to be popping up on his hands and elbows. I'll second the "This would make an awesome series!" sentiment, too.
